With Gaston Kaboré Moderated by Charles Tesson
Gaston graduated in History and Cinema in Paris. He became worldly famous thanks to his features Wend Kuuni (French Cesar for Best francophone film 1985), Zan Boko (Silver Tanit, Carthage Film Festival 1988), Rabi (Special Jury Prize, Carthage Film Festival 1992) and Buud Yam (Etalon de Yennenga, Fespaco 1997).
He directed the publication “Africa and the Centenary of Cinema” (FEPACI/Présence Africaine), and always organized professionals training sessions in Africa. He was also jury member of international film festival (Locarno, Venise, Cannes, Rotterdam, Berlin, Ouagadougou).
Thanks to his desire to transmit, Gaston founded in 2003 the Institute Imagine that he actually manages.
